Package 1 – Safari Tours in Sri Lanka (08 Day Itinerary)
- Day 1 – Arrive at Colombo airport and transfer to the nearby beach resort of Negombo (20 mins). Flight recuperation time with many hotels at all standards available.
- Day 2 – Our driver collects clients after breakfast by 8am and drives to the Rock Cave Temple at Dambulla. Continue to the Sigirya region to join the afternoon jeep safari in and around Minneriya/Kaudalla/Eco National Parks (all linked and famous for large herds of wild elephant)
- Day 3 – Climb the world famous Lion’s Rock at Sigirya (early better – cooler and fewer people!), then continue to Kandy with an option to call in at a Spice Garden to learn about Natural Ayurvedic medicine (educational). Afternoon sightseeing in Kandy (local markets etc) followed at 5pm by the Kandy Cultural show (1 hour fire/dance). The day ends with the sunset ceremonies at the nearby Temple of Buddha’s tooth. Overnight in Kandy.
- Day 4 – Drive south into Hill/Tea country with stops at the spectacular Ramboda waterfall and a visit to a working Tea Factory. 12.30 scenic train to Ella, followed by drive south to the Yala National Park for 2 overnights. Tents or hotels.
- Day 5 – Full day jeep safari in Yala Park.
- Day 6 – Option for another sunrise Yala safari and then to the nearby Bundalla/Weharagalla Parks famous for bird watching. Drive along the beautiful south coast beaches to the resort of Mirissa for overnight.
- Day 7 – Sunrise “Sea Safari” to view Blue Whales and Dolphins. Later in the day drive to the Sinharaja Rainforest to join an expertly led themed trek. Overnight.
- Day 8 – Join another forest trek and in the afternoon drive back to Colombo airport for either a late flight out or overnight at an airport hotel.

Package 2 – Safari Tours in Sri Lanka (14 Day Itinerary)
- Day 1 – Arrive at Colombo airport and transfer to the nearby beach resort of Negombo (20 mins). Flight recuperation time with many hotels at all standards available.
- Day 2 – Our driver collects clients after breakfast by 8am and drives north along the coast road to the Vil Patu National Park in time for lunch (4 hours). Afternoon jeep safari and 2 overnights in the Park at tent site.
- Day 3 – Full day jeep safari in the Park.
- Day 4 – After breakfast drive to the nearby (1 hour) ancient site of Anuradhapura for sightseeing and lunch. Afternoon drive south via a visit to the huge Aukana Buddha statue to Sigirya for 2 overnights.
- Day 5 – Full day jeep safari in and around Minneriya/Kaudalla/Eco National Parks (all linked and famous for large herds of wild elephant).Hotel accommodation.
- Day 6 – While in the Unesco World Heritage “Golden Triangle” area we visit some of the celebrated sites. Climb the world famous Lion’s Rock at Sigirya (early better – cooler and fewer people!), then continue to the Rock Cave Temple at Dambulla. On the way to Kandy option to call in at a Spice Garden to learn about Natural Ayurvedic medicine (educational). Afternoon sightseeing in Kandy (local markets etc) followed at 5pm by the Kandy Cultural show (1 hour fire/dance). The day ends with the sunset ceremonies at the nearby Temple of Buddha’s tooth. Overnight in Kandy.

- Day 8 – Early morning trek into the Horton Plains National Park to see the amazing view at “World’s End”and the unusual flora/fauna of this special Park. 12.30 scenic train to Ella, followed by drive south to the Yala National Park for 2 overnights. Tents or hotels.
- Day 9 – Full day jeep safari in Yala Park.
- Day 10 – Option for another sunrise Yala safari and then to the nearby Bundalla/Weharagalla Parks famous for bird watching. Continue along the beautiful south coast beaches to the resort of Mirissa for 2 overnights.
- Day 11 – Sunrise “Sea Safari” to view Blue Whales and Dolphins. Later in the day drive to Unesco Heritage “Galle Fort” for lunch and sightseeing, followed by a visit to a Turtle hatchery.
- Day 12 – Drive inland to the Sinharaja Rainforest for 2 overnights. Join afternoon forest trek.
- Day 13 – Full day for expertly guided trekking following different themes.
- Day 14 – Drive back to the airport for either a late flight out or overnight at an airport hotel.
